Ready For My Photobomb: Wedding Hair Inspo
If you ever feel like you're third wheeling, just channel your inner Dave Chappelle. A couple was in the middle of their brewery-themed engagement photoshoot when good ole Dave saw them and decided to join in. The result was arguably some of the best and most memorable engagement photos ever.
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Engagement and wedding pictures are worth even more in memories. All the more important to make sure you have the perfect hair. Fall and winter wedding season is well underway and whether you're the bride to be, a bridesmaid, or a wedding guest, it's important that you have options for the big day. When the photographer snaps your picture you want to be photo ready with no frizz, stray curls, or unruly edges photobombing you. No matter what hair type you have there are endless styles to choose from that can go perfectly with a fall or winter wedding. Before the big day comes, you'll want to decide between on color, volume, texture, accessories, and whether you'll want your hair up or down. From barely there to big bold hair, we want to give you all the inspiration you'll need for the big day.
If you recently got the big chop, you can play it up by using accessories such as a head veil or a headband. You can also consider going colorful to match the color theme of the wedding. If your hair is a little longer, you can might consider letting your natural fro be and just adding some bling, or you might go a more formal look with finger waves or sleeked back hair. Just make sure to have plenty of pins, a smoothing brush, and strong holding hair gel. As an alternative, grab a hair dryer and round brush to give your hair the perfect loose wave pixie bob.
For ladies with medium and long hair, you also have just as many options to pick from! Grab some curl defining cream and let your curls speak for themselves. Add some pretty hair accessories, or add in some braids to play it up. If you want more styled curls or waves, be sure to add heat protectant to your hair. Sweep it off to one side, or put it in a half up, half down style. If you want your hair completely out of the way during the wedding, you have anywhere from bohemian to sleek updos to pick from. Leave your natural curls and use your fingers to style it into a loose, elegant updo. For a more primed and proper style, use a curling iron and comb to create the curls and then pin up it up however you like. Hair gel and hairspray will help seal in the style.
If you love braids or twists, you can choose to leave them down or style them up in an elegant bun. Create a beautiful and intricate pattern with your braids or stick with a single bohemian-style braid. Add flowers, pearls, or other accessories to really make a beautiful statement. If you plan to use a weave or wig, you can also consider changing up your hair color. Pick a more subtle hue or go bold with a really vibrant color.
Whatever style you want to go with, make sure that you plan it ahead of time. Don't be afraid to ask bridesmaids or friends to help with hair! The more intricate the style you choose will be, the more reason you will want to schedule a trial run or multiple before the big day. We recommend enlisting the help of a professional or your talented friend!
