Just a few hours ago the news broke that Brooklyn Drill rapper Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Jackson, was shot and killed in an alleged attempted robbery. The 20-year-old rapper was at a home in Beverly Hills around 4:30 am when two masked men in hoodies entered and fired multiple shots, critically injuring Jackson. He was transported to Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where he was pronounced dead. Many are questioning the circumstances of his untimely death because his location was posted to social media multiple times. His death comes just two weeks after the release of his second album “Meet the Woo 2.”
