Must Try Beauty Looks from New York Fashion Week
After a wild week of clothes, shows, and parties, New York Fashion Week has officially ended. While the main focus was on the clothes, you definitely didn't want to overlook the hair or makeup. These two can make or break your outfit so it makes sense that this time around, NYFW went hard on both. We loved the amount of variety and bold decisions this time around not only in the streetstyle but also on the runways. Here are three of our favorite runway beauty looks for you try out.
Blue Winged Eyeliner + Bantu Knots
Studio 189's show on Tuesday showed that you don't always have to go all out to make a statement. Even though blue eyeliner might not be considered a "neutral" color, it's not so out there that it'll look out of place on a day-to-day basis. It's just the perfect balance of fun and restrained especially when you pair it with minimal makeup and perfectly styled bantu knots. Added bonus, you can add some extra moisturizer to your knots. Cute AND moisturized!
Pops of Color + Wrapped Ponytails
If you're looking to put together a fun and simple look, then this one from Maki Oh's show is the perfect solution. The orange and pink added on your cheek and brow bones look vibrant and youthful, especially when you combine it with ultra dewy skin. Add a fabric-wrapped ponytail with some perfectly laid baby hairs into the mix and take the whole look to a whole new level. Find out how to lay and slay your edges here.
Studded Eye Makeup + Big Hair
This look from the wildly successful Pyer Moss show exudes confidence and with the added gems, makes you look so glamorous. You want to blend out your eyeshadow all the way out to your brow and cheekbones for an ethereal look. And when you go all out with your makeup, it's only right to go just as big on your hair. Lots of volume will pair perfectly with such a bold makeup look.
