As of right now, we still don't know how much longer we'll have to keep taking protective measures to fight against the pandemic of the coronavirus. There's no doubt that self-isolating can take a toll on anyone but if this sacrifice can help save lives, then it's definitely worth it. Still, you can't help but look back on all the things you were able to do just mere weeks ago that now feel completely off-limits, like traveling. Even though the present is feeling pretty bleak, things will get better and will return to normal.

With that in mind, why not start thinking about where and what you're going to do once all quarantines have been lifted? To get you started, here are 5 places you should definitely visit once the pandemic is over.

Italy

If you've been paying attention to the news, then you know the pandemic has devastated the country. The quarantine efforts there have taken a large toll on the economy but bringing tourism back into it will only help it on its road to recovery. Given how beautiful and rich in culture the country is, taking a trip there to enjoy the breathtaking countryside scenery, bustling cities, and delicious food is really a win-win for you and Italy.

Tokyo

Tokyo has been dedicating the past year to preparing itself for the 2020 Olympics but unfortunately the pandemic forced them to postpone them until further notice. While you may not be going to see the sporting events, you can still take advantage of all their prep work in anticipation for the influx of tourism. As one of the most unique cities in the world with its mix of centuries-old Japanese traditions and the latest modern advancements in technology, it's definitely a must-see city.

Seychelles

After being cooped up inside your house for what seems like an eternity, it's safe to say that the last thing you'll want to do after the pandemic is over is stay inside. What better way to celebrate the end of this period than by relaxing on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? Well Seychelles has them for you. Made up of over 100 islands, you'll find all the picturesque beach locations your heart could want.

Cuba

In the fight against the coronavirus, Cuba has been sending doctors all around the world to provide aid wherever they can. It might not be the first place you think of to visit, but the food, sites, and rich culture are not something you want to miss. Its perfectly maintained retro cars and bright colored buildings make Cuba feel like an homage to an era that's long gone by and worth visiting at least once.

New Zealand

All this social isolating is leaving a lot of people craving connections with others in person. New Zealand is a great place to visit if you're one of them since it's considered one of the friendliest countries in the world. On top of the people, New Zealand's gorgeous scenery is another perfect escape from the confines of the indoors you've been in all these weeks.
