If you're feeling a bit restless during the COVID-19 quarantine, we’ve got your fix! Exercise! This is your perfect excuse to start a new workout routine, especially since most gyms and classes are closed for the time being. Going for a walk, doing yoga, or maybe completing a workout challenge during this time is a great way to remedy restlessness. Honestly, there's only so much you can do during social distancing, why not include some fitness into your new schedule?


  1. Yoga!

Yoga not only has many benefits when it comes to the body, but also mental benefits, making it the total mind-body experience. During this time of a shelter-in-place reality, it gives us time to really reflect inwards. Yoga is a great way to do this, especially since it has been proven that yoga is an ultimate stress reliever and mindfulness promoter. Practicing yoga also increases flexibility, balance, and strength. Even if you spend 10-15 minutes doing yoga a day, you will probably see a difference in the overall quality of your day. There are a plethora of at home yoga videos on Youtube ranging from beginner to expert. If you type in “30 day workout challenge” on pinterest, you could be scrolling pages and pages of different workouts. So, to make your life easier, we’ve collected a few options for you! Take this challenge an extra step and challenge your friends to complete one with you!







  1. Take a Walk

Walking or jogging is a great pastime that doubles as a full body workout. Although we do need to avoid contact with people, or at least limit our contact with those who don't live with us, going outside for a while can be very refreshing. Jogging or walking is a great way to get some fresh air and get your heart pumping!



  1. Make Youtube Your Gym

Since gyms are closed, when it comes to exercise during this time, youtube will be your personal trainer and will help you save some money!  There are so many videos that focus on toning, losing, or gaining weight on different parts of your body that could be beneficial to you - all without having to use any equipment!   1. Weights

Unless you lift weights regularly, its not completely mandatory to go to the gym. But exercising with weights and dumbbells are great options! Exercises that work multiple parts of your body like squats and lunges can also be done with weights.
