A Summer in Style
Imagine a paradise villa full of beautiful women and men all trying to find true love. Now imagine that but on camera for the world to see. ITV2, a British TV channel, has created Love Island. With Caroline Flack, English television/radio presenter, actress, and model as the host of this summer’s most talked about show set in Majorca, Spain.
Much like the Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Are You the One, these individuals are placed in unfamiliar territory in hopes of finding a summer love who may or may not be their soulmate. With endless amounts of sun, food, beautiful people, and romance the cast members are always dressed in the latest trends which are sponsored by I Saw It First, a major online clothing retailer.
Even though I Saw It First provides the cast with a surplus of exclusive on trend clothing, you can recreate the same looks for your summer wardrobe. Here are some of our favorite must have items inspired by the beautiful ladies from the cast of Love Island!
We all know and love the little black dress, but let’s lighten things up this summer. White’s such a flattering color on so many skin tones and it effortlessly brings out that summer glow. You can wear a white dress in any type of fit varying from sundresses to tunics to bodycon dresses like the one Jourdan’s wearing.
Neon Neon Neon. Jourdan is wearing this neon lime bikini and we cannot get over this vibrant addition to our summer wardrobe. If you’re looking for an easy way to vamp up your summer wardrobe, why not add some neon bikinis, tops, matching sets, and accessories. You can also try adding a pop of neon on the lips to turn any look into an editorial one.
Think of biker shorts as your new leggings for summer. They let your legs breathe while still maintaining the comfy feel of leggings. You can wear them dressed down with sneakers for an athleisure vibe or you can wear them dressed up with heels and a fanny pack like Yewande for a sporty-chic look.
Here, Amber’s wearing a bodycon silk dress paired with heels and a head full of curls. Silk has been a huge trend when it comes to dresses, tops, pants, and even scrunchies. You can wear this fabric however you like, and it keeps you looking sleek, polished, and elegant without having to try too hard.
We hope this inspires you to release your inner fashionista this summer!
